Discovered you at Prick of the Spindle (specifically, "Where Dragons Sleep", accompanying "Children Say") and was blown away enough to look through the links for your other work, follow them to your official site, pour through those for a good while, and then follow one of those links here.
Your stuff is amazing.
Actually, I've dreamed some of it, or something extremely close. Even so, I could never hope to get it to come out of me the same way I saw it... but somehow, you have. It's a little disconcerting! There are some deep, long-forgotten archetypes you're hitting on there, or something... everything is so achingly, tip-of-my-tongue, acutely familiar somehow.
Wish I could afford you for my own literary magazine, but I know I can't.
Definitely going to follow your blog, remember your name, and thank you for sharing some insight into your processes. I've been reading.
Tracy, thanks for the very kind words. 'Long-forgotten archetypes' makes my day. Stopped by your blog- When Smash Cake is up and running give me a shout and I'll be happy to submit something. Thanks again, and all best.
I'm an artist and writer. My work has appeared in American Art Collector, Endicott Journal, Bluecanvas, Word Riot, Metazen, Fictionaut Selects, and many other publications. Original drawings, prints, artcards, more at the links below. Thanks for looking.
