Dispatches

Phil McCray says very kind things about my work. If you don't read Phil's blog, you should. This is a good place to start.

From the notebooks:

Faded sign from another time:

xTx: Yet, I Kneel. I Tie

Where Dragons Sleep
Ink, Graphite, Charcoal; 2 7/8" x 4 7/8"

I remember the first time my drawings hung in an exhibition next to an artist whose work I'd admired for awhile. Long time ago and I'm jaded and cynical but maybe not entirely because when one of my drawings appears alongside an xTx story like Yet, I Kneel. I Tie it feels a lot like hanging next to Marty Poole. Again, big thanks to Prick of the Spindle editor Cynthia Reeser.
